DD Gold is based in Kerikeri, central to all of Northland. We have over 1000 customers, located from Cambridge to Kaitaia. We provide specialised embroidery and screen printing services, along with a wide range of clothing, bags and other accessories. We are totally committed to helping you have some fun with the imgaes and words associated with your work, liesure or club activities.
DD Gold has expanded considerably over the past few years. We have developed a strong network with two strategic suppliers, and provide screen printing and other printing options. We also provide project managment for all your branding needs. We find some of our customers want this one-stop-shop approach and we guarantee to match or better other people's prices.
David Bright
Managing Director
Dave is known locally as the “embroidery guy”, having established DD Gold Ltd in 2004.
David has an MBA from Henley Management College in the UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology and Zoology. He also has a number of postgraduate qualifications in training and development, communication and operations management. He started his career in local government with management of Environmental services and other areas of enforcement. He led the development of divisional strategic plans within council, and was heavily involved with the resource management act and other council related and strategy related initiatives.
After completing a Henley MBA (UK), he moved into central government to lead a large organisational change projects. He started his own consultancy in change management and process improvement in the late 1990s, but then took up the challenge of the telecommunications industry, and spent 4 years working as one of 5 of EDS’s Telecom contract systems managers.
David has a strong personal interest in fishing, property management, and anything to do with branded clothing! He and his wife Debra have been involved in a wide range of projects and activities in their 25 years together.
Lisa Middleditch
Office and Sales Manager
Lisa Middleditch (a Jewellery Designer by 'night' and trading as 'Lisa M Designs') has joined the team as our Sales and Office Manager. Talk to Lisa to get some ideas on those team Uniforms! (you can also now purchase some of her unique jewellery from our showroom at 57 Cobham Road, Kerikeri.)
Amy Crarer
Production Supervisor
Amy Crarer is our Production Supervisor. She comes from an artistic family and loves flouro designs! She has been Supervisor of the local famous Kerikeri Bakehouse for years and is a local 'celebrity'!
Chiquita Parris
Embroiderer
Chiquita Parris is the youngest member of our team. She comes from a hospitality background and is highly creative. She is studying to be a graphics digitiser.
Debra Bright has a broad based general management background and has achieved a number of team and company turnarounds within various small to medium sized companies. Debra still runs her consultancy business, Ivanangel Consulting Ltd. She enjoys coaching/mentoring, strategic planning sessions, and is a creative workshop facilitator.
Both Dave and Debra have marketing qualifications and enjoy the fun and satisfaction of the branding business.
While she stills works in the buisness, she is also an accomplished potter and sells from the studio at 293 Inlet road, Kerikeri. Best to call first!
